The top of the mountain.

My dear, I'm afraid for us.
I've been thinking about those villages that thrive on the highest mountain tops.
And how the air is so thin, that it's hard to breath if you aren't used to it.
But what about us?  We are always in the extremes, either underground
on trains or parallel to the clouds in those skyscrapers.
Everyone thinks it's so romantic, and dream-like, to wrap yourself in clouds.
But when I am so very high up, you are completely out of reach.
To me, the clouds are like a bolted door, and you're always on the wrong side.
Sometimes, we should meet in the middle.
